    Thanks for this great video, I did one room a year ago with great success and am watching it again to remind me before doing another two rooms. I got the kit from B & Q which was cheaper than other shops and well worth it now I will use it for 3 rooms. Got my carpet cheap/free by buying off cuts / second hand. I could have paid £100s more to get the professionals to do it but I honestly think it looks great and was not that hard to do thanks to helpful tutorials like this. It's a shame so many comments are negative. It's a pretty simple job.

    Finally, somebody has shown how to cut the carpet properly. The guy on another video just used a freaking axe. Great video

    What if the gripper nails are coming up through the carpet? It's a hessian backed thick carpet I have.
