So question. I understand I need to find the middle of my feature wall and draw a line down it to align one side of the wallpaper with BUT am I right in thinking my first strip of wallpaper will be off centre and actually to the side of the middle?

I have watched many videos and maybe I'm being pedantic about it but no one clarifies and I have never wallpapered before!

What do I need to do if we have brand new wallboard gib (the wet prevention one),  plus plaster has gone on.What then do I need?     Do I have to put primer sealer and undercoat on it  (I have a can all in one) or does wallpaper just go up on top of the new plaster?

I’ve never understood why British paperhangers always use scissors where Americans paperhangers will use razor blades. Makes no sense.
