good tutorial, just wondering, how do you get the blue network cable back down afterwards? shouldnt you have taped the BNC cable HALF WAY along the blue network cable (instead of being taped end to end) so that the end of the network cable wouldnt need to get lost into the wall at all?

You just been exposed to ASBESTOS 🤦🏻‍♂️ Wear a mask and eye protection. Also use shaving cream in a plastic cup with drill inside. This way you can catch most of the dust.

This was literally painful to watch. You should've first stated that you have absolutely no experience with such things and that you will be winging it.

look at 14:07 health and safety rule specifically states when working on tile roofs leave your flip flops off, as your feet have a better grip on concrete tiles.

Be very careful drilling through the NBN wall faceplate. Remember it remains the property of NBN and not yours to fiddle with.

No security systems are relatively useful but do not use the premade wires learn how to cut your own wire make your own fitting by signees wire this one wire is that too long in some instances the wire is just not thick enough to give you a good solid digital signal

Don't you have plywood decking for the roof, then 30lb felt, then the barrel tile??? I just see barrel tile alone.

I'm sure you mean well but this video was a bit confusing.
What did those blue network cables had to do with the cameras? You only need to show the camera installation once but how to put the system together is what I wanted to see.
And please throw that bent drill bit away… It gives me goose bumps as a tradesman.

I'm a bit of a DIY guy but I can understand why professionals install these systems for a living. A lot of variables and often pros can advise the layperson on how to operate the whole system. Much respect for doing it yourself. I'm on the verge of doing it myself but I honestly don't trust my current abilities. 🖖

On the other hand…If I do it myself I will save a lot of money and only I will know where I put those cameras on my own property. No potentially shady company involved.
